Sep 23 - installed microlam support pillar, between master bathroom & kitchen, master bathroom side. Four of these pillars are distributed along the microlam beams. This one and two others are hidden in walls.
Sep 23 - this microlam pillar is freestanding in kitchen, i.e., can't be hidden in a wall. It will be dressed up with cabinetry and trim to blend in with the finished space.

Sep 26 - measurements for a new den window that will replace aluminum jalousie windows & door. But first, the old windows, doors and walls must come down, and new walls must be built. All that happened in the space of an afternoon.
