Oct 4 - blocks have filled in the access space that had been left for moving gravel and concrete to the basement. You can see a dusting of concrete spray on the Tyvek.
Oct 4 - this is the block for future sump pump drains. A temporary drain hose serving the new pump is at left. The pipe at right serves the existing sump pump.

The siding is a product called HardiePlank. It's flexible and paintable, and has concrete as one of its ingredients.

The chrysanthemums along the back walk are volunteers from last year. They put on a glorious show for having had no care this year except a bit of water.
