Sep 13 - microlam 2 of 2 goes up. Gary added two extra crew to help with the heavy lifting. I think I heard that each of these beams is 38' long and weighs several hundred pounds. But for all the weight, they're better than steel in this implementation because they can be recessed in the ceiling, and rafters can be nailed to them.
