Skógar Folk Museum
The Skógar Folk Museum is next to Skógafoss. We spent part of a day there while waiting for better ice-cave conditions. It was a fascinating look into Iceland's cultural and industrial history.
One constant in everything we saw was decoration. The Icelanders lavishly decorated just about everything they wore and used. Only buildings are deliberately plain.
