After the veterans got off the plane they were the stars of a big procession that wound down the concourse. Each veteran's name, service and rank were announced to applause and cheers. Although most were in wheelchairs, a few were still walking at the end of a very long day. It was a special evening for Shelley, because her dad was among those honored!
