Bucyrus 2018

Bucyrus' Bratwurst Festival, now in its 51st year, is a long-standing anchor in Active Band’s concert season. At 11am a group of volunteers performed in a special “Remembering Our Heroes” event at the local VFW. The concert began at 1:30pm, sponsored by Ryder-Heil Bronze Inc. Post-concert, the band lunched and rehydrated as guests at the VFW, and played a few pep tunes there. Parade marchers enjoyed temps lower than the legendary brutal-hot. The day finished with a wonderful dinner at Herb Klein’s home.
