Wednesday - Salzburg Tour
Wednesday morning offered guided walking tours of the old city, ending at either the Salzburg Museum or the Mozart Birthplace/Museum (photography is forbidden inside the latter). Salzburg seems magnificient and historic at every turn. It has a delightful Christmas Market, and is home to several filming locations for "The Sound of Music" (some of which also figure in the actual Von Trapp Family history). Flat grey skies didn't diminish anyone's enthusiasm or appetite.
