Saturday - Kloster Ettal
Saturday morning offered two tours: Kloster Ettal (i.e., Ettal Abbey) and Linderhof Palace (built by Ludwig II, builder of Neuschwanstein Castle).
This gallery's photos are of Kloster Ettal. Founded in 1330, the abbey is one of the largest Benedictine houses. The community produces several products on site, including beer and the famous Ettaler liqueur. The complex includes a book and gift shop and a restaurant.
