Tonight's dinner is at Le Relais du Viaduc in Coutances
Starting to get used to the restaurant differences: great bread but no butter or plates; bottled water but never enough; ice upon request only; no artificial sweeteners; utensils for later courses at 12:00; pay for anything other than water at tableside. Good wine totally offset any puzzling factors!

Goodie bags had been prepared well in advance and shipped with instruments. Tonight was the first opportunity to hand them out. Vicki was either especially pleased to receive hers or trying not to be photographed. ;-)
Much thought went into the goodie bags, and here are just a few of the contents. Name tags even had "The Longest Day" lyrics printed on their backs.
Each packet carried a thoughtful and generous donation from Pat C: US and Ohio flag pins, to be given as tokens of friendship to people met along the way. One of my pins had already been given by the time of this shot.
A good look at one of the buses. Fred's and Rolfe's skill at navigating impossibly tight turns had already become legendary.
