May 27 - Memorial Day Parade
The Memorial Day Parade made its way through Waikiki's shopping district and along the beach in the warm tropical sunset. A large and appreciative crowd wielded an unimaginable number of video-ing cellphones. Although only about a mile long, the parade NEVER paused, challenging even seasoned TBDBITLers...including some veterans of the legendary 2005 King Kamehameha Day parade, billed as 4 miles but measured as 6!
